My Movie List – Mom

Without her, there would be no Black Marks on Wood Pulp. Of course, there would be no Corey at all. It’s my mom, and through her I’ve gained a twisted sense of what makes a film good (or bad). It was with her that I first watched The Beginning of the End, a movie featuring giant grasshoppers that was so utterly horrible we both fell over laughing. Now that’s bonding.

1. Fargo
Sure, Margie.

2. As Good as it Gets

3. A Christmas Story

4. Schindler’s List

5. Lord of The Rings Trilogy
I consider all three really one movie.

6. Forrest Gump
I can quote Forrest quite well, as a matter of fact.

7. To Kill a Mockingbird
You go, Scout!

8. The Sixth Sense
Scared the **it out of me!

9. Rear Window
Living in an apartment, I find a lot of similarities to Jimmy Stewart. Especially in the fact that we both view our “hoods” through binoculars.

10. Saving Private Ryan
Very difficult to watch but should be required in high school along with Schindler’s List.
